On January 10, 2024, the inauguration and plaque-unveiling ceremony of Sehan University · Yunhua International College – China’s first overseas aviation college and the first international institute of Yunhua Education Group, jointly founded by Yunhua Education Group and South Korea’s Sehan University – was held at Sehan University.

Lee Seung-hoon, President of Sehan University, Choi Mi-sun, Vice President, Park Soo-jin, Dean of the International Education Institute, Lee Jong-hyuk, Dean of Academic Affairs, Jung Hye-in, Dean of Administration, Lee Dong-soo, Dean of Planning, Kim Kook-wan, Dean of the Aviation Department, Lee Eun-hee, Chair of the Aviation Service Department, Noh Yup-seop, Chair of the Aviation and Shipping Department, Kwon Byeong-guk, Chair of the Aviation Maintenance Department, Yoon Dong-guk, Dean of the Flight Education Institute, and Lee Seong-jong, Dean of Flight Technology, attended the ceremony. Also in attendance were Liu Chun, Chairman and CEO of Yunhua Education Group, Wang Chi, Assistant to the Chairman, Sunny, Director of the International Business Division, and Hong Seong-hwa, Director of the South Korea Project Department. The ceremony was hosted by Park Soo-jin, Dean of the International Education Institute of Sehan University.

In his speech at the ceremony, Lee Seung-hoon, President of Sehan University, stated that with China’s high-level opening-up and growing international influence, open education, complementary advantages, and mutually beneficial exchanges have become an inevitable trend for the integration, improvement and quality enhancement of higher education between the two countries. In particular, as an enterprise deeply engaged in aviation education for many years, Yunhua Education boasts prominent strengths in educational and training philosophy, professional standards and resource accumulation. He firmly believes that Sehan University · Yunhua International College will not only provide students from both sides with a broad academic vision and international exchange opportunities, but also elevate the level of international education, teaching and research, fostering a competitive win-win situation for both parties.

In his speech, Liu Chun, Chairman and CEO of Yunhua Education Group, pointed out that this year marks the 32nd anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and South Korea, as well as the starting year for the joint construction of the Belt and Road Initiative to enter a new stage of high-quality development. In recent years, educational exchanges and cooperation between China and South Korea have deepened continuously. Especially with the rapid development of vocational education in China, the "going global of vocational education" has become a trend while learning advanced vocational education concepts. Vocational schools are accelerating international exchanges and cooperation, and contributing educational strength to building a high-quality, high-level and high-standard China-ROK community with a shared future.

It is reported that Sehan University · Yunhua International College will offer 4-year undergraduate and higher academic education in South Korea and issue corresponding academic degree certificates. In the early stage, after consultations between Yunhua Education Group and Sehan University and research on the employment needs of cooperative enterprises, the first batch of four undergraduate and higher academic education majors launched are: Aviation Service, Aviation Operations, Aviation Maintenance, and Aircraft Manufacturing Engineering.
